The Oakland BID provides a full range of supplemental cleaning services, as well as
promotion for the commercial district, advocacy for the interests of the
stakeholders, enhanced safety programs and public improvements. It has an
annual budget of approximately $450,000.
Property owners in the district pay a mandatory assessment collected by the
BID.
The fees are approximately .0035 mil of the assessed land and building values
within the BID boundaries.
The OBID also recieves annual fair share contributions from our non-profit institutional partners.
